She’s also the wonderful Southern belle, that in a unique sequence of events, catalyzed the birth of The Connections Show - following an introduction to Vint Cerf, a prominent figure (who is frequently referred to as ‘The Father of the Internet’) - and himself a recent guest on The Connections Show.
Since Cynthia was indirectly responsible for the show’s inception, it’s only fitting that she and I got together for one last chat - to say ‘Good Bye’ to the show and all the loyal listeners that have provided support and encouragement along the way.

So it was surprising to learn that despite being a sophisticated and net-savvy Internet user, Marc was recently the victim of Identity Theft - losing control (for a short but crucuial period) of his Facebook account.
As a result, a devious financial scam was perpetrated in his name, drawing in a number of unsuspecting victims, before being brought inder control.
