Connections #007 – All a-Twitter – A Gen X Perspective
John Johnston is a Digital Interactive Designer & Art Director working in Sydney, Australia – and an enthusiast of a number of Social Media networks.
In this episode, John talks about his latest passion, Twitter – new kid on the block among social networks, whose main point of difference seems to be the brevity of messages exchanged between it members (think micro-communication).
John is an avid enthusiast who enjoys making new contacts – with a new Generation X ‘multitasking’ perspective, as he likes to make use of a number of different Social Networking tools simultaneously.

Great show guys! Twitter is great for getting instant feedback or answers to questions. I’ll often ask my Twitter list a question and get half a dozen answers within seconds.
A great tool for seeing what gets discussed on Twitter is Terraminds: http://terraminds.com/twitter/
It’s a Twitter search engine. For example: type in “connections podcast” and see what is being said about this show!
