Connections #009 - Results of the Digg contest
Regular followers of this show will be familiar with the challenge given to me by Cameron Reilly (CEO of TPN & host of the G’Day World show), that kicked it all off to begin with – and the subsequent challenge that I made to HIM, back in Episode #001.
Well, the Challenge finished on October 31. So it’s time to count the results.
To learn the outcome, check out this episode - and join us for a half-hour of friendly banter, as we discuss the outcome of the Digg Challenge, as well as insights and commentary on emerging trends in Social Networking & Web 2.0.

Nice work Stan, I hope more and more people especially here in Australia would realise and understand the value of LinkedIn and How it can be useful.
I have certainly enjoyed the previous episodes and look forward to listening to the ones to come.
I have a strong feeling that soon you will be there in the top 50 LinkedIn Members.

Now that’s a wrap on the first series of podcasts! Congratulations Stan on your win.
So lesson’s learned were?
(Cameron Reilly + dare) + (Stan Relihan + accepting challenge) x (Terrific Format + LinkedIn Connections + LinkedIn Groupies) x (meta conversations + new media tools) = New forms of communication swap + one bottle of wine!

Hi Stan, I just listenend to this Episode today. I added you as a connection on LinkedIn last week, as a result of hearing your original show with Cameron and the first Episode of your own show. (I’ll be catching up with most of the others later today).
A few days after I Linked to you @jjprojects on Twitter said that you were now in the LinkedIn Top 50… I said that it must have been because I linked to you in the past few days…. :)
Congrats on the show and being now in the Top 50…
I’m also enjoying that the shows are around 20 mins as well, too - just the right length.

Hi Stan,
My “normal” interests are in a different field (Philosophical) - but the great thing about LinkedIn is that we open ourselves to different viewpoints.
I’ve downloaded all your Podcasts and listen to them while travelling. I have gained some quite valuable insights because of this, especially as I am interested in all the new developments from a social angle.
Thanks and keep up the good work I am passing on the links in return.

Well done Stan, a great podcast.
I especially like the short episode time as I can complete it in one commute and don’t have to try and remember the first half before listening to the second half on the way home!
Cheers
