    Hi Stan,

    Great interview with Vincent!

I recently had the pleasure to meet Vincent and he’s truly a remarkable human being! I’m blessed and honored to be in his network.

How did I become part of his network? LinkedIn, of course :-)

Vincent’s story about why he created “My LinkedIn Power Forum” is a clear example of his unique ability to discover and develop opportunities and platforms that help people solve problems; from simple to complex.

    My take-away:
    1. Vincent is a “world-class” thinker. Join his Power Forum.
    2. It’s OK to profit from networking. As a matter of fact, it’s more than OK: your time is valuable so have clear intentions in your networking goals.
    3. Your LI profile is your personal invitation to the world. Therefore, make it inviting!

Thanks, Stan, for tapping into Vincent’s heart and mind to share his vast experience with us.

I think you should do an entire podcast on a point that Vincent raised: building a network (online / face-to-face) for profit.

    Stan
My wife and I had the pleasure of listening to this podcast in the car driving north for the Summer holidays here in Sydney, Australia. What a great interview - Vincent’s comments really resonated with me, being someone who values personal connections with others and strives to ensure mutual success from every connection.

I loved his reference to the word “serendipitous” - that opportunity can come unexpectedly from unexpected connections, enabled by social networking and just helping others. In fact, I was later to have a serendipitous email exchange with Vincent which he later informed his “LinkedIn Power Forum” group about.

I look forward to listening to the rest of your podcasts and if I can be of any assistance don’t hesitate to contact me.

    Best regards,
    Tony Hollingsworth

  15. Sheilah Etheridge Says:

    Hello Stan and Vincent,

As always an incredible show, thank you. I believe you both made some excellent points especially on the issue of making the networking process generate revenue. That is something more people need to learn and also learn how to finesse the networking in such a way that it isn’t a sales pitch. It really dos come from getting to know the people and working in a manner that helps both sides.

Looking forward to more of your podcast Stan.

    Stan and Vincent,

    Huzza!

What a wonderful way to begin a Friday morning - listening and nodding my head to two yummy voices, asking and answering a wide range of concerns, insights and unasked questions about the value, importance and “courtesies” of social/business online networking.

    Thank you, very kindly, gentlemen.

Though this podcast is from 9 months ago, it is something to turn back to, when we are doubting in this era of social media.

It is fascinating once people find out they can express themselves - the true value behind Web2.0 - to billions of people - small can be big and big can be small - is fascinating.
