Connections #026 - Insights from a $3 Billion Man

David Moore is Director of Enterprise Engagements at Hewlett Packard in Sydney, Australia - and through the course of his career, has been involved in closing deals totaling in excess of $3 Billion.

Prior to joining HP, David had a long career at Deloitte Consulting, as Industry Leader in Energy, Telecommunications & Government, followed by responsibility for Systems Integration, Outsourcing & Consulting in Asia Pacific, Japan and South Africa.

This background prepared him well for his current role, leading HP’s large, complex service engagements for the top Corporate Enterprises and Government Agencies - with an average deal size of $200 - 500 Million.

    Hi Stan,

    I have just listened to (and taken notes from) the David Moore interview. Great stuff.

    I had to chuckle when you and David both commented on how important sites such as LinkedIn are, in order for people to be “found” in the web 2.0 world.

    That’s exactly how you “found” me :) (I am so pleased I went to the trouble of fleshing-out my record about 6 months ago).

    David sounds like a great guy, and the “World” of HP sounds pretty attractive, with people such as him at the helm.
