Stan: Good on ya Mate!, Stan delivers aspirational and incremental steps required to refine and increase the functionality of the present leading networking capabiities in #45 with John Mcea. It is a succinct communication on the usefulness and limitations of the need for and limitations of the exisiting bisness and social contact service available today.
Suggest strongly that medium to heavy active users download and utilize as a primer for “closing” the late adopters in their contact dB to subscribe to multiple services.
Stan’s probing questions and John’s advanced preparation address many of the exisitng short comings or limitations of interactivity of service that will be overcome and increase the productivity and capabilities as 2.0 and the smashing of the ‘Walled Garden” structure mets it ultimate demise.
A core issue or impediment for many of our efforts is the extensions of requests to join or link to multiple network sites, particularly with less web friendly or low familiarity users, many of them developmentally “older” and still closely tied to their own prorietary dB systems. ” Why should I join and fully populate both Plaxo & LinkedIn …etc.”
Podcast #45 - if they can fathom the podcast technology, addresses and should move them to action. If for no other reason than they will discover they are even further, perhaps hopelessly, behind the (ev) and revolution, as Web 2.0 asserts itself in the lives and commercial activity of the majority of users worldwide.
