Thanks Andre for the podcast, excellent presentation of a great idea. Virtualization is mandatory for big houses but also for small data centers or even offices. As you said “virtualize immediately”, not necessarily because companies like VMware have to sell but because it is more cost efficient for everybody. I personally use Sun products and the company where I work is using both VMware and Sun. I am responsible of performance of the systems so I am the first one to say something against, but actually I can assure you that if this is used wise is actually using hardware resources more efficiently even from the end user point of view.
